What's Happening?
It has been so long since my last blog that I thought I had better check in. Halloween went by and lo and behold, our Fire Dept. had no paged calls! Our trick or treater count went down by about 100 kids this year, so we have some candy left over!My pedal steel guitar needed a few small pieces replaced - small but important in maintaining an accurate tuning. So, with the help of steel guitar guru Al Brisco, who sent me the tiny pieces, and brother in-law-guru Frank Amon, my Carter steel is all ready for service. This is good, because I have a couple of December shows with Ryan Cook & Sunny Acres in December.
Travelling Man has had cataract surgery on his right eye, but results have not been satisfactory to date. Hopefully this will be resolved. Also, birthday number 90 is fast approaching for Travelling Man - Nov. 28th to be exact.
I have continued to be addicted to the ever popular social networking platform Facebook...in fact this blog should appear in my notes section on my facebook profile.
