A "Great" Niece.

Sheila's great niece (her nephew's daughter) Jessica recently took part in a dance recital at the Y'arc. She looks a tad nervous in the first picture, but quickly gets into the spirit. She and all the kids had a blast. Note the different costumes throuhout various parts of the show. I have more pictures, but these capture a little of the spirit of the evening. Photgraphing this was a challenge for a couple of reasons - low light and the constant movement of the participants. Some "red-eye" had to be removed due to all the flash of the camera - Photoshop to the rescue. This is also the first time I used the "Blog This" feature to post these pictures. You can post them all at once that way - much quicker.

Somebody put alot of work into the costumes - great job.

The hockey game is now on. I am hoping that Edmonton can win tonight and tie the series.

Tomorrow we have our Annual General Meeting at work. The best part of the meeting is the snacks afterwards. Leave it to me to mention food!

I think these pink costumes were the prettiest on the night.

Well, with the hockey game on, I must be going. In the meantime, keep your stick on the ice and enjoy the pictures!
